Here is a map to the Marina Bay Yacht Harbor, with instructions below. Be sure to try the zoom and pan controls in the upper left corner of the map. To pan the map, you can click and hold while moving your cursor. Also, try clicking on the "Satellite" tab to see a satellite photo. (Note that if the map doesn't display, you may need to upgrade your browser to the latest version.) (Not for Navigation) Latitude & Longitude: By Land Via I-80 from the East: Take Highway I-80 West (towards Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco). Take the Cutting Boulevard turnoff and head west about 2 miles. At the Marina Way light, turn left for 1 mile and you will see the Harbormasters Office on the left, with the harbor beyond. Via I-580 and I-880 from Oakland or the Bay Bridge: At what is called the "MacArthur Maze", where I-580 and I-880 from Oakland and I-80 from the Bay Bridge converge, take I-80 East/I-580 West towards Berkeley and Sacramento (they are both the same roadway that actually begins going North). Just past Berkeley's Gilman Street, veer to the right and take the I-580 West exit towards San Rafael. About 3¼ miles take Marina Bay Parkway/South 23rd Street. Turn left at the stoplight onto Marina Bay Parkway. Go past two stoplights (close together - one is Meeker Avenue), and past the railroad tracks. Going to D Dock? Going to E Dock? Going to F or G Dock? By Water The Marina Bay Yacht Harbor is located in the northeast corner of San Francisco Bay (before you enter into San Pablo Bay), and can be found on NOAA Chart 18653 (San Francisco Bay - Angel Island to Point San Pedro). Lay a course to the entrance of Point Potrero Reach, located at GPS coordinates 37°54'37"N, 122°23'03"W. Head east down the Reach to the Point Potrero Turn, then head north into Harbor Channel. Do not cut across the open water towards the marina basin, as that area is shoal! We have a special "Mud Duck" award for skippers who run aground there. Continue to the red channel marker No. 18, then round the marker to port and head east past the old Ford Motors plant (large brick building with a wharf) to the marina basin, staying to port of the line of three small red buoys. The marina basin has a depth of 12' to 20' with no known obstructions to a boat with an 8' draft. As always, these instructions are not meant to substitute for a skipper's own prudent navigation, and no responsibility is assumed by the Marina Bay Yacht Club or its officers and members.
